Drug-Free Marshals Night at the Ballpark
3rd Annual Drug-Free Marshals Night at the Ballpark, July 30th, 2010. Gates open at 6:00 pm. Game starts at 7:05 pm. Come and get sworn in to be a Drug-Free Marshal!
SUPA
Students United for Positive Action (SUPA) is geared toward Genesee County youth in grades 6-12. The goals of the program are to educate youth on the dangers of alcohol and substance abuse, listen to concerns of community youth and provide an opportunity to take an active role in the improvement of their schools and neighborhoods.
Senior Spice
Senior Spice is a group of dedicated seniors who have decided to join Drug Free Communities Coalition's Senior Spice Committee to help shoulder the responsibility to create a healthy drug free community for all people in Genesee County, including teens and seniors. Monthly Meeting: 2nd Wednesday of each month, 1:30 - 2:30pm, GCASA, 430 E. Main St. Batavia, 2nd floor, Prevention conference room. New members are welcome! October 2, 2010- 10 a.m. till 4 p.m., $10 per person, (price includes museum admission & round-trip transportation to and from Office For the Aging paid for by GCASA).
Time Out For Grandparents
Time Out For Grandparents is a support group for anyone who is caring for their grandchildren because the parents are unable. Time Out For Grandparents provides an opportunity for grandparents to hear how others have dealt with issues as well as learn they are not alone.
1st Monday of each month, 10-11am or 6-7pm, GCASA, 430 East Main Street, Batavia, 2nd floor, Prevention conference room.
